00:08Thai wildlife authorities found 40 tiger cub carcasses in a freezer in Thailand's infamous

00:14Tiger Temple this morning as they removed live animals in response to international

00:18pressure over suspected trafficking and abuse.

00:22The Buddhist temple in Kanchanaburi province, west of Bangkok, had become a tourist destination

00:26where visitors snap selfies with bottle-fed cubs, but the temple has been investigated

00:31for suspected links to wildlife trafficking and abuse.

00:35At least 20,000 children are trapped in terrorist bastions in Fallujah, which is under siege

00:40by Iraqi forces, the UN Children's Fund said today. The few residents who have managed

00:45to flee Fallujah since Iraqi forces launched an offensive against Daesh on May 22 have

00:50spoken of severe shortages of food and drinking water.

00:54Dubai-based conglomerate Majid al-Fateim will boost its total investment in the UAE

00:59by 30 billion dirhams by 2026, it said today. It will develop 10 new shopping malls under

01:04the City Centre brand, which will include new malls in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi,

01:08Masdar City.

01:10Etihad Aviation Group and its minority-owned airlines will contribute $9.6 billion to the

01:15Abu Dhabi economy in 2016. The Abu Dhabi government-owned group, which includes Etihad Airways, will

01:22support 91,700 jobs in the Emirate, according to research by Oxford Economics.

01:28Agnieszka Radwanska and Simona Hallett blasted French Open organisers on Tuesday for forcing

01:34them to compete in pouring rain. Novak Djokovic and Serena Williams, meanwhile, were left

01:38facing a four-day playing stretch. Radwanska, the second seed, and sixth seed Hallett both

01:43lost their last 16 clashes after opening healthy leads on Sunday night.

01:49Actress Amber Heard has given a statement to Los Angeles Police in which she accused

01:53estranged husband Johnny Depp of domestic violence. Heard's attorney said that in an

01:58attempt to protect her privacy and Johnny's career, the actress initially declined to

02:03report to police and made the 21st incident between her and Depp. Amber has suffered through

02:08years of physical and psychological abuse at the hands of Johnny, they said.

02:13And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 38 degrees Celsius, dropping
