00:18Around 9,000 yoga enthusiasts stretched and twisted limbs during the opening of the two-day
00:22Ex-Yoga Dubai Festival, the largest mass participation yoga session in the Middle East.
00:28Yoga is the only form of exercise that is strengthening internally and externally.
00:35So it also helps your internal organs, massaging them when you're doing your stomach exercises,
00:41it calms your nerves, it's basically a oneness of mind, body and soul.
00:47So there's no other exercise form that does that.
00:52Shetty Kundra says she's happy to create awareness about yoga, which she claims has given her
00:57many health benefits.
00:58I'm more than happy to be a play catalyst in bringing about an awareness for an exercise
01:06form that has given me so many health benefits.
01:10And you don't need a membership, you just need a yoga mat and yourself, and you need
01:16a calm frame of mind, and there's nothing in the world you can't achieve when you're
01:21aligned.
01:22Because all of us are so scattered, trying to achieve all that we want to in our life,
01:29that I feel yoga is a great grounding factor.
01:32And the pranayamas and the asanas actually make you realize that you can actually push
01:39yourself to a greater extent, and makes you believe that, oh, there are some body parts
01:47that you didn't even know existed.
01:48This was my first time, and I will continue for the same.
01:53I've been practicing yoga for quite a while, around five years now, and this is for the
01:58first time that I've encountered, maybe it's thousands of people, thousands of people having
02:04it around, and I think this is a nice initiative from ex-Dubai.
