00:00I think the primary reason for any film is that it is going to be an entertaining film,
00:15you know. No matter what the genre of the film is. Homan Jahaan has really got everything.
00:22It's a sweet story. It's not some intense drama, nothing, you know. I wouldn't sell
00:27it to you like that, that it's this magnum opus. It is a very sweet film about friends.
00:35It's about different generations. It's about changing times. It's about passion and dreams.
00:42It's big concepts, but made in a very simple manner.
00:49It was a lot of fun. Actually, it was weird because I've only ever done drama, you know,
00:57sort of stuff. It's so dramatic. I'd actually forgotten what it was like to be this girl,
01:06you know. So even the smallest dialogues or the easiest of dialogues, I would say it in
01:10a manner which was very like, hmmm. And you know, Asim would be like, just do it the way
01:15you do it.
01:16Would he ask you to tone it down, perhaps?
01:19Well, the problem is I'm an under-actor, if you notice, if you've ever seen anything.
01:25So no, tone it down nahi. They always ask me to tone it up, you know. Bring it up, yes.
01:32But because the dialogues were so easy, I could have brought it up, you know. But I'm
01:37not talking about the way I delivered the dialogue, but just the intensity.
01:45It's been surreal, to say the least. It's been a very nice time that I've spent. And
01:56I'm going to go back and spend some more time on set. I think this time I'll just go back
02:00more at ease. I was very nervous. I was shooting for Manjahan, then shooting for Reyes, then
02:05shooting for Bindu Roy. So I went there like a kid on the first day of school, to be honest.
02:13I felt exactly the same. And I remember my first day of school, I was in tears.
02:19See, that is nervous dread.
02:20That is nervous dread. But I had good people around me, you know. I became so close to
02:26my entire crew that everyone was really, really good. So I'm looking forward now. I have nothing
02:33on my plate and I'll be happy to go.
