00:10Hashtag Our UAE GMC, which will take audiences on a journey through the history of the UAE.
00:15When we set to execute our nation campaign, we knew that we have to do it through the
00:20eyes of the nationals, who are actually very proud of the nation.
00:23The series follows the travels of two young Emirati men as they retrace symbolic routes
00:28taken by the UAE's founding fathers through the nation over 44 years ago.
00:32There's so many things that probably I didn't have the time or the chance to learn about
00:37when I was growing older.
00:40So on this trip, I had the chance to learn about my culture and visit the UAE and go
00:47to different places that I haven't been there before.
00:49I have one quote that Sheikh Zayed always was saying, Allah ar-Rahman, if you don't
00:55know your past, you will never ever figure out what your future is.
01:00So by going on the trip and exploring more of the UAE and our culture, I learned myself
01:09a lot of things about how they used to live before.
01:13And I get more respect for the old people now.
01:17And it's like giving the water to the plant, my love increased double of double of what
01:24I had to be before.
01:26Visitors to the GMC stand at the Dubai International Motor Show, running from the 10th to the 14th
01:31of November, will have a chance to experience the most exciting stages of Meyad and Mohammed's
01:35journey through Oculus Rift technology.
01:38A virtual reality head-mounted display which puts viewers into the driver's seat of this
01:42historic adventure through the UAE.
