01:17Apple will open its first two stores in the region at Dubai's Mall of the Emirates and
01:22Abu Dhabi's Yes Mall today. The two stores have many of the features people will recognise
01:27such as oak tables and colourful displays, including some new features. The store in
01:32Dubai in particular has trees brought in from the Netherlands, plenty of leather seating
01:37and is lit with natural light. Green is the feature at Dubai's Apple store with trees
01:43and a green wall.
01:45The latest James Bond movie Spectre is breaking records at the British box office, Sony Pictures
01:50Entertainment said. The movie starring Daniel Craig as secret agent 007 took $9.2 million
01:57in its first full day in what Sony said was the biggest Tuesday ever in movie-going history
02:02in Britain. Spectre is set for release in the UAE on November 6.
02:07And finally, the weather. Today's high across the UAE will be 35 degrees Celsius, dropping
02:11to 25 degrees at night.
