00:16national program to improve the quality of life and diversify the economy on the occasion
00:21of the 44th UAE National Day tomorrow. The national program places emphasis on citizens'
00:27happiness and well-being, maximizing federal revenues, sustaining a balanced national
00:32fiscal system, and the development of a national non-oil economy. It stresses on consolidation
00:39of national identity policies, improving education, and development of social responsibility practices.
00:46The program highlights doubling efforts to build national media, invest in youth, and
00:51develop legislations and policies to sustain national security.
00:56His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister
01:00of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, said in his message that Emiratis have proven that they
01:05are capable of building on development and achieving renaissance, and that they are intrepid
01:11and firm too. They showed their true essence when they responded to the call of duty. They
01:16proved that prosperity has not made us idle, but it has fuelled our strength and determination
01:22and showed that the very gains we have made stimulate us to preserve and protect them,"
01:27Sheikh Mohammed said.
01:29In his message, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi
01:34and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said that the road to building the
01:38union was not easy or smooth, but was fraught with obstacles and challenges that our ancestors
01:44faced with determination, dedication and faith. They succeeded in building a united, strong
01:50nation that we should be proud of, but it still requires effort and solidarity to protect
01:55and preserve gains and defend it against threats," Sheikh Mohammed said.
