00:15We decided to visit a few outlets with Emirati chef Khalil Mustafa in our quest for the tastiest

00:22shawarma.

00:24But before we begin, let's get the expert's view on how to pick a good place to eat out.

00:29Before you select your shawarma, please make sure that all the mayonnaise, tahina sauce

00:36and the tomatoes, whatever they are putting on the shawarma, it has to be chilled.

00:42That is very important for the chicken shawarma and chicken shawarma has to be eaten immediately.

00:48We cannot just keep it for one hour to get cold.

00:52Keeping this in mind, we head over to our first stop, Automatic Restaurant in Healthcare City.

00:59The restaurant chain was the most popular among our readers and the chef also seems

01:04They have used the right sauces for the chicken and lamb variety, have stuck to the original

01:09style of shawarmas and also managed to satisfy our chef with their hygiene standards.

01:17So Automatic seems to have done well.

01:22Al Malla on Diafer Street.

01:25We are trying the beef shawarma.

01:28It has onion, tomatoes, tahina sauce and chopped parsley which is giving a really special taste

01:39here at Al Malla restaurant.

01:41So the beef shawarma at Al Malla got a top rating from our expert.

01:46But while he heads to the third restaurant in Dubai, let's nip over to Abu Dhabi and

01:51find out what our reader's favourite outlet is in the capital.

01:55When we asked readers about the best shawarma place in Abu Dhabi, they said this is it.

02:37Especially I come here to taste the food which is very nice and very good.

02:42And nice quality, especially the eggs.

02:44The food is really amazing.

02:46The people, the price, it's very clean.

02:49How they make, the customer. I mean the food is really tasty.

02:52So now you know what it's like from the customers themselves.

02:55It's tasty, healthy and authentic.

02:58If you're ever in Abu Dhabi and feel like having some shawarma, it's definitely the place to check out.

03:03Back in Dubai, our chef has arrived at the third and final destination, Al Faruj restaurant.

03:09The chef tried their popular Mexican version of the shawarma and this is what he had to say.

03:15It has good combination, the pickles is there, French fries is there and garlic mayonnaise.

03:20But here I can find missing the tomatoes.

03:23Chicken shawarma is having some Mexican taste.

03:26But I find this one, it's not up to my taste.

03:29I don't like it but I like the chicken, the natural one what they are making from Lebanese style.

03:35So with the visits made, let's see which restaurant is our chef's favorite.

03:40Automatic restaurant, they have the best chicken shawarma.

03:43Crispy and tasty for the sandwich itself.

03:46For the beef, it will be Al Malah.

03:49It was excellent, meat very tender, very tasty.

03:52The combination of the onions and sumac and tahini sauce was coming really fantastic.

03:58So congratulations for Automatic restaurant and Al Malah.
