00:09top stories at this hour. Five Saudi soldiers have died on the border
00:14with Yemen, the Saudi-led coalition said, as forces inside Yemen began a major offensive
00:19against rebels. A coalition statement did not say how the army soldier and four border
00:24guard troops died in the kingdom's southern Nigerian region. Coalition-supported anti-rebel
00:29forces in Yemen began a major offensive on Sunday aimed at pushing al-Houthis out of
00:34Marib province. Egyptian security forces have killed 12 people, including Mexican tourists,
00:39and injured 10 others when they mistakenly targeted their convoy while chasing terrorists
00:44in the western desert. The Joint Police and Army Force mistakenly engaged with four 4x4
00:49vehicles boarded by Mexican tourists who were present in a restricted area, the interior
00:53ministry said in a statement. More than 350 inmates escaped in the Afghan prison following
00:59a coordinated attack by Taliban insurgents. Mohammed al-Ahmadi, deputy governor of Ghazni
01:04province, said insurgents wearing military fatigue launched a well-organized attack early
01:10Monday morning that included using a suicide bomber to breach the compound's walls. Four
01:14guards were killed and seven others were wounded, while three insurgents were also killed, Ahmadi
01:19said. In sport, Novak Djokovic clinched his third Grand Slam title of 2015 and 10th career
01:25major with a four-set triumph over sentimental favorite Roger Federer in the US Open final
01:31last night. Shrugging off a three-hour rain delay and the overwhelming hostility of the
01:35Arthrash Stadium crowd, the 28-year-old world number one captured his second title in New
01:40York to add to his 2011 triumph. Betty Cantrell, representing the southern US state of Georgia,
01:47was crowned Miss America 2016 last night. Cantrell received the crown from last year's
01:52winner Keira Karenceff of New York, then waved to the tune of the pageant's theme song
01:57There She Is Miss America. The panel of judges this year was led by Miss America 1984 Vanessa
02:03Williams, the first African-American to win the contest. And finally, the weather. Today's high
