00:00Pakistani expats gathered at the Pakistani consulate in Dubai to pay their respects for
00:13the victims of the Peshawar school massacre.
00:23After the funeral prayer, men, women and children lit candles and bought flowers to pay their
00:26respects for the fallen victims.
00:40The entire Pakistan nation has suffered a huge setback in the form of the attack on
00:47this Pakistani school where over 100 children lost their lives.
00:53And what you see here today is the resolve of the Pakistani people living in the United
00:58Arab Emirates to show solidarity with the families who have lost loved ones, their children,
01:05and to show the world that we are all united in our resolve to continue our fight against
01:13these acts of terrorism and to make sure that we get rid of this scourge once and forever.
01:19This is beyond the protest.
01:21We have to stand as a nation, and not we only.
01:24The whole world is one nation, so they have to stand now against the terrorism.
01:30Pakistan paid a high price for that.
01:32Now our children, we are losing children, so I'm requesting the whole world that please
01:36stand with us so that we can defeat these people, because they don't have any religion,
01:41they don't have any nation, they don't have any identity.
01:45They are just terrorists.
01:46They don't have anything.
01:47The only hope we had for Pakistan are those young children who were in that part of Pakistan.
01:53But now, like what happened yesterday, it's just, it was heartbreaking, not for every
01:57Pakistani, not for every Muslim, but for every human.
02:02After paying their respects, the attendees left with the hope that demonstrations of
02:05solidarity such as this would send a clear message that acts of violence would not tear
02:10their community apart.
