00:30I was there and I was a supporting cast mostly, but this one was a really big one for me.
00:36It really was a dream to work with Vicky, first of all, even though it's his directorial
00:43debut because he was such an amazing director.
00:49He made the process of this whole double role challenge very easy for me.
00:53Then you also had Arjun, who opened my eyes to so many things about acting and performing
01:02and having fun with my characters and having fun in a scene.
01:06That was the first time as well that I was working with Ranbir.
01:09So it was a phenomenal experience.
01:13You have to go and watch this film really from Kabir's point of view, actually.
01:21It does because his experiences and the way he meets characters in his life, okay, if
01:26it is Aisha or if it is Roy or Tia, how they emerge in his life, really do have an effect
01:36on all their lives.
01:37He has an effect on all their lives.
01:40They have a huge impact on his life.
01:43So that journey is quite challenging for any actor because he really does go through
01:51a lot of an emotional changeover that kind of happens to him.
01:57But he is a very dignified guy, is what you kind of get to know.
02:05Luck is a very, very important factor in our industry.
02:08I've had a lot of bad luck.
02:10I mean, I made a really good film and then you just don't get as lucky with the music
02:15or with the promotions of it or with a producer who's backed it, you know, and saying, I'm
02:20going to take it all the way there and promote it on that level.
02:23And that film kind of doesn't see the light of day on that level.
02:27That's not good luck, you know.
02:30So I think being lucky is to get the right team and the right people together and get
02:34the right energies together.
02:37I don't think that's that critical also in my life.
02:39I think what's good about my life today, which I can say, is that I can do films for
02:45the correct reasons and not for the wrong reasons.
02:47There were times in my career where I've done films for which I wanted to buy a house
02:52or a car or pay the bills or pay the rent.
02:55At least now I can sit back by the grace of God and say, OK, I'll wait till I can do
03:01what I really want to do.
03:06I'll wait till I can do what I really want to do.
