00:05It's the company's first megafactory built outside of the US,

00:08and is dedicated to manufacturing Tesla's grid-connectable stationary batteries, known as Megapack.

00:17Built in just eight months, it has an annual production capacity of 10,000 units,

00:22almost 40 gigawatt hours of energy storage.

00:30The capacity for Tesla-deployed energy storage systems is expected to grow at least 50% year-on-year

00:36once the Megapacks produced in Shanghai are put into use.

00:40The megafactory showcases Tesla's growing presence in China.
