00:00For the first time ever in the Middle East, the top wake riders in the world were on hand

00:08to demonstrate their world-class skills for the wakeboard community in the UAE.

00:12Three wakeboarders and one wake surfer, they are the best in the States and the world.

00:16They will do a show today, it's going to be like 45 minutes, and they will show their

00:19skills and what they can do, and it's going to be so much fun.

00:23The event, hosted by Extreme Wake at Gansu Marina, featured a veritable who's who in

00:27the world of wake riding.

00:29I ride for Body Glove Wetsuits and Life Jackets, and they teamed up with Extreme Wake and they

00:34got a boat out here and everything, and we decided to take a team trip to come check

00:38this place out.

00:39Today is different, no pressure, just get to go out there and have some fun and show

00:43the people, local people and everyone here that came to check us out some high-level

00:47wakeboarding.

00:48I'm going to do some skim style wake surfing, which is kind of a flatter board with some

00:59little tiny fins, kick it around, do some tricks, and then I'll ride surf style as well,

01:04which is more similar to traditional surfing in the ocean when it comes to the style of

01:08the riding.

01:09Wake surfing is actually surfing behind the boat with no rope whatsoever, just completely

01:14the power of the wave, about 10 to 15 feet behind the boat, pretty close, at a slow speed,

01:22usually around 11 miles an hour.

01:24We get a wave on one side and surf it just like you would see somebody surfing a wave

01:27in the ocean.

01:28The pros didn't disappoint, taking to the water and performing some mind-blowing aerial

01:32stunts for the awestruck crowd.
