00:00Probably an activist. I mean, I've been an activist and a philanthropist since before
00:19I was famous, and so I've always wanted to do work worldwide. I've started doing charity
00:27and philanthropy at a very young age because of my sister, and so had I not become famous,
00:34I still would be doing what I'm doing philanthropically.
00:42I was a much better student now, going back later in life, than I was when I was 20. I
00:48was in class and I was like, why couldn't I have been this student earlier and paid
00:53attention when I was younger? I think it's impossible. I'm much more curious about the
00:58world now, and so I'm very interested in what I'm learning. And that's very rare when you're
01:03so young and you're 18, you're not very interested in what you're trying to learn. So yeah, I
01:09was the kid in class, I was the old person in class who would say, you know, I have more
01:13questions and can we discuss that again? And I read ahead and I found out that, you know,
01:19so I was like the annoying student in class.
01:27I think we're still severely underrepresented in television and film, and as women too.
01:34So if you're, you know, a woman of a specific ethnicity, it's even harder. But you know,
01:40that's why I produce and direct, because I think you have to take charge of the problem
01:43and create your own stories and your own opportunities. You can't really sit back and wait for Hollywood
01:48to, you know, give you this amazing golden role. You have to go out and create those
01:53opportunities, not only for yourself, but for others.
01:59I have a movie coming out called Frontera with Michael Peña and Ed Harris, and that's
02:03about a border issue in the United States. And then I'm probably going to be going back
02:10to television soon. I really like the medium of television, and I like that schedule, and
02:16I like, you know, seeing the same people every day. So I really like television a lot
02:21more than movies.
02:26I love when people donate to the Eva Longoria Foundation, and they send me a card saying,
02:31you know, instead of getting you a really crappy, crappy gift, we're going to donate
02:35money to your foundation. That, that is the gift I wish everybody would give me.
02:44To be healthier, you know, I always try, that's always a New Year's resolution, just
02:47to work out more and eat better and, you know, get more sleep. That's my, that's my goal
02:51in the New Year, to sleep more.
