00:11India's ruling Congress party faces an electoral humiliation today at the hands of the main

00:15opposition BJP and an anti-corruption party in the last major test before next year's

00:21national polls. With the count still on, the BJP was the clear winner in Madhya Pradesh

00:26and Rajasthan and was in a neck-and-neck race with the Congress in Chhattisgarh. Delhi

00:30looked likely to elect a hung legislature with the Aam Aadmi Party putting up a strong

00:35performance. The counting for Mizoram, which also went to the polls, will be held tomorrow.

00:41Dubai Police has urged legislators to consider making some traffic violations criminal offences

00:46and prosecute offenders. Major General Mohammad Saif Al Zafin, Director of the Dubai Police

00:52Traffic Department, warns some traffic violations to be dealt with as criminal acts and the

00:57offenders refer to the public prosecutor to face charges of endangering people's lives

01:03and affecting road safety.

01:05Iran's President Hassan Rouhani told his country's parliament this morning that last month's

01:10nuclear deal with world powers has already had a positive impact on the country's economy.

01:15US President Barack Obama said in a speech to a pro-Israel audience in the US that he

01:20believes the chances for a comprehensive nuclear agreement with Iran are 50-50 or worse,

01:26yet defended diplomacy as the best way to prevent Tehran from acquiring atomic weapons.
