00:00If good reputations can attract investments, most of the world's investors would be flocking
00:16to Dubai and Abu Dhabi. According to the Reputation Institute that surveyed 18,000 respondents
00:22last year, Dubai came on top of the cities to invest in. This position makes Dubai the
00:27strongest contender to host Expo 2020. Abu Dhabi, meanwhile, came second. The two UAE
00:34cities beat other cities like Zurich, Geneva, and New York. The respondents from the Group
00:39of Eight, or G8 Markets, were surveyed based on their perception of which cities are the
00:43most attractive to visit, invest, live, work, and buy from.
00:49The US government began today its first partial shutdown in 17 years, idling as many as 800,000
00:55federal employees, closing national parks, and halting some services after Congress failed
01:00to break a partisan deadlock by a midnight deadline.
01:04The Syrian Foreign Minister has equated his country's brutal conflict to the September
01:0811 attacks, accusing the US of hypocrisy. The people of New York have witnessed the
01:13devastations of terrorism and were burned with the fire of extremism and bloodshed,
01:18the same way we're suffering now in Syria, the Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem told
01:23the UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
