00:00Some municipalities in Palawan are still flooded by the government.

00:05It continues to attack the affected areas.

00:07Puerto Princesa City recommended the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council

00:13which is already under State of Calamity.

00:17This is Orlan Habagat of PIA Palawan with the national news.

00:21This weekend, the Shareline and Intertropical Convergence Zones were flooded.

00:31According to the situational report issued by the Emergency Operations Center

00:35of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office last night,

00:40including the municipalities of Aborlan, Nara, Brooks Point, and Sopronio, Espanyola,

00:45are severely affected by the floods.

00:47Up to 961 families consisting of 3,290 individuals

00:53from 4 municipalities were evacuated to evacuation centers in their respective areas.

00:59Aside from this, 320 families or 1,326 individuals from Aborlan

01:06are currently being evacuated to their homes.

01:11The PDRRMO is continuing its clearing operation.

01:15The MDRRMOs of each municipality in the affected roads are working together

01:21and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office

01:25distributed the 1,000 Family Food Packs for the evacuees of Aborlan and Nara.

01:31It is estimated that 5 people were evacuated to the province due to the widespread floods.

01:38Five of them were transported by a van last weekend

01:41to Purok Tagumpay in Barangay Inagawan, Puerto Princesa.

01:44Meanwhile, the Puerto Princesa City Disaster Risk and Reduction and Management Council

01:52recommended that the entire municipality in the State of Calamity

01:54should be evacuated because it is severely affected by the floods.

01:57The PDRRMC's copy of the resolution has been submitted to the local government

02:02and it is expected to be discussed in the regular session of the council today.

02:07The Puerto Princesa City Disaster Risk and Reduction and Management Council

02:11has prepared a P86 million quick response fund

02:14to help the families affected by the floods in the State of Calamity.
