Greece has declared a state of emergency on Santorini after a series of earthquakes shook the popular tourist island this week and prompted more than 10,000 residents and workers to evacuate.

00:00Greece has declared a state of emergency on Santorini after earthquakes prompted over
00:0710,000 evacuations this week. Since Sunday, hundreds of tremors have been recorded between
00:12Santorini and Amorgos, with the strongest reaching 5.2 magnitude on Wednesday night.
00:19Authorities have warned of a high risk of landslides, prompting school closures, the
00:24deployment of emergency teams, and advisories for residents to avoid ports and large gatherings.
00:30Santorini wakes us up every 10 minutes, on a regular basis. There are a lot of earthquakes.
00:37There is a lot of anxiety. I wouldn't have left Santorini, but it was planned.
