00:42Getting back into the rhythm of theatre is a discipline.
00:46We rehearsed for the show for a month and that too from morning to evening.
00:54In our time, we used to rehearse for 2-3 hours in the evening and the show would be ready in 2-3 months.
01:02But in this, we were rehearsing from 9 in the morning to 5 in the evening, like a 9-to-5 job.
01:08It was very regimented and for 3 weeks.
01:11It was a different schedule. The commitment was at a different level.
01:16Also, it was only 2 actors, Ahana Kumra and myself.
01:20There were only 2 actors, so it was even more difficult.
01:23There were many different situations and minor changes. It was a difficult piece.
01:28It was not comedy. It was not funny.
01:33So, the commitment to readjusting to that level of rigour was something that took some time.
01:41What are the surprises that you expect from the film?
01:45Well, surprises, hopefully, they are all in different genres. That is what is exciting.
01:52In one, I am playing quite a serious role also, so that is also something different.
01:57Because generally, I do a lot of comedy, but in this, I got a chance to do something very straight and serious.
02:03It's a kind of light-hearted thriller, which we have just completed.
02:09Then, there is a series I have done with Pankaj Kapoor and Mona Singh, which is like a family drama.
02:15Then, I have done another series, which is a kind of behind-the-scenes, which is again a drama, but fun.
