00:11the IRR will serve as a guide in implementing new procurement laws

00:19As DBM Secretary Amena Pangandaman explained,
00:22the continuous effective procurement reform,
00:25particularly the Government Procurement Policy Board Technical Support Office
00:29or GPP-BTSO showed high standards in public service.
00:34This new law aims to improve the value of money,
00:37effective procurement and quality of service by means of new technologies and systems.
00:42Meanwhile, officials from the DBM,
00:44the Department of Public Works and Highways
00:46and the Department of National Defense
00:48as well as the Department of Education attended the GPP-BTSO meeting.
