‘No winner in trade war’, China warns Trump

A Chinese envoy has voiced opposition to the U.S. decision to increase tariffs at a press conference at the United Nations Headquarters in New York at the start of China's presidency of the Security Council.   In response to the U.S. tariff increase on China, China's Permanent Representative to the UN Fu Cong said that it violated WTO rules and emphasized that there are no winners in a trade war.  #china #trump #tariffs #us #chinausrelations

00:34really find a solution that is beneficial to itself and also to the whole world.

00:42And frankly speaking, I don't think that raising tariffs is beneficial to the U.S. itself.
