00:00Due to recent events, lots of people have started to hoard food, and when you hoard food, you donate less.
00:05Which is why we filled six semi-trucks with over $1 million worth of food,
00:10because now more than ever, food banks genuinely need our help.
00:13This 18-wheeler literally has 25 pallets full of food.
00:17So in this particular box, there's stacks of bacon.
00:20Did you say bacon?
00:22Yes, bacon.
00:23And we have thousands of boxes like this, full of meat.
00:26So Jonathan, what's in these trucks?
00:28You know, we've got bacon, sausage, ham, all of that center of the plate protein item.
00:32It's really hard for the food banks and the clients that they serve to be able to obtain.
00:35So this is a game changer.
00:37And we're going to take 1 million servings and give them to food banks.
00:43Here we are at the food bank of Albemarle, and this is our first stop, and we're going to unload 175,000 meals.
00:49And this is the first truck packed full of meat, and we're going to unload everything in this here.
00:54And boom.
00:55As I said before, it's a truck full of meat.
00:58This is a pallet of hot dogs.
01:00It's literally 5,000 hot dogs.
01:03Yeah, hot dogs!
01:04Put your 5,000 wieners in the fridge.
01:06Okay.
01:07As you can see, there's a lot of empty space in this freezer.
01:09When we're done, this freezer is going to be full.
01:11How many people do you guys feed on a given day?
01:19Oh my goodness, thousands.
01:21Really?
01:21There's around 170,000 servings of protein in this truck.
01:25What does that make you feel?
01:26It's fantastic.
01:27Two weeks ago, meat was very scarce.
01:30It was hard to find.
01:30Yeah, because of all the stuff going around.
01:32Exactly right.
01:33Thank you, buddy.
01:33No problem.
01:34We're just trying to help.
01:35This is so much food, you guys.
01:37Literally, 170,000 servings of protein is what we're delivering here.
01:46Woo!
01:49Yeah.
01:50I just want to let you guys know, this is a necessary business.
01:53A lot of places are closing down, but what are they supposed to do?
01:55Just let people go hungry?
01:57This is something that has to stay open.
01:58Can you just tell us what they'll do and how many lives they'll unpack?
02:01Well, you know, 166,000 portions of protein that are going to make a huge difference here.
02:07Aw.
02:07Just in Northeastern North Carolina.
02:09Yeah.
02:09We are just so grateful to you.
02:11Thank you so much for helping people.
02:12We really appreciate it.
02:14As you can see, we dropped off 170,000 servings of protein to the next seltzer.
02:18Let's go!
02:25If you were to fill the biggest NFL stadium to the brim, every single seed,
02:29there's enough food in this truck to feed all of them twice.
02:32What's this?
02:33Cherrywood smoked bacon.
02:34This is small bacon.
02:35Small bacon.
02:36And that is applewood bacon.
02:38There's a lot of bacon.
02:39These literally are stuffed to the brim full of food, and there's thousands of boxes.
02:43The point is, there's a lot of food.
02:44Chris forklift them.
02:45My safety certification ran out a while back ago.
02:48Don't tell anybody, please.
02:49That's a fast boy.
02:51I know, right?
02:52Whoa!
02:53Open sesame.
02:55You're welcome.
02:57Do not ride it like a horse.
02:59That is a no-no.
03:00Don't do that.
03:01In a normal time, we know that there are just under 600,000 people who are food insecure,
03:05and about one in every three of those are children.
03:08Right now, during the COVID outbreak and the pandemic, we worry about everybody, really.
03:12You guys have been great to bring this donation in.
03:15It's going to impact a lot of people.
03:16So far, we have hit three different food banks.
03:20And since we started with six trucks, that means we have three.
03:24Thank you for helping us deliver the food.
03:26You're welcome.
03:27We do.
03:27Here's the thing, Chris.
03:28They probably didn't hear a single word she said.
03:30So I'm going to translate.
03:31She said, subscribe to Mr. V's.
03:41We are now here at the fourth food bay.
03:43And guess what we're going to do?
03:45Give them food.
03:46Here's the truck.
03:47And here's Chris guiding them.
03:52Oh, no.
03:53Oh, he's actually listening to you, Chris.
03:55We should go catch up with the truck.
03:56We've got to upload it.
03:57What did you find?
04:00He's still with us.
04:01As you can hear, this is on.
04:03This one's on.
04:04Chris, is that one on?
04:05No, the one named Chandler is currently not working.
04:10Let's go deliver food.
04:12All right, you're good.
04:13You're good.
04:14You're good.
04:15This is my favorite part, when it hits the patty.
04:17And so soft.
04:19Carl, come over here.
04:20Hi.
04:21I want to see if you can open it.
04:22But he's so weak.
04:23In front of all these people right here.
04:23I'm so weak.
04:24Everybody's judging you, Carl.
04:25There we go.
04:31This is a pallet of plant-based burgers.
04:35Nope.
04:41Yes.
04:41I'm not as weak as you thought I was.
04:44Yeah.
04:45Yeah.
04:45Do you even know where the freezer is?
04:48No.
04:48I don't know where we're going.
04:50All right.
04:50There we go.
04:51Yeah.
04:53Oh, it's so cold.
04:54It hurts.
04:56Plant-based meat.
04:57Done.
04:57Heine.
04:58Heine.
04:58Heine.
04:59Bring it home to bacon.
05:04Is that it?
05:05Oh, it is bacon.
05:06Nice.
05:09I didn't know I wanted to see this until I just saw it.
05:16He did it.
05:17He did it.
05:18This man loves his job.
05:22So what's on your pallet, Chris?
05:24I've got plant-based burgers.
05:25I've got a pallet of bacon.
05:27Yeah, but mine's good for the environment.
05:29Mine's good for your taste buds.
05:30Oh.
05:31I wonder if they've ever thought about turning the heat up in here.
05:33You're doing great.
05:34We're all really proud of you.
05:35Am I?
05:35Oh.
05:37All right.
05:37Hey.
05:38There it is.
05:39I'm not useless.
05:42It's so cold.
05:43Get me out of here.
05:44I'm skiing.
05:46Did I do it right?
05:47Click the trigger forward.
05:49Jack it real good.
05:50Keep jacking, Tyler.
05:51Is it on?
05:52Yeah.
05:52Now pull.
05:53Come on, Tyler.
05:54You're doing great.
05:55You're definitely not just sliding in place.
05:59I'm better than everyone.
06:01Wow, look how easily you did it, Chris.
06:02I'm so good.
06:03Hey, Chris, watch out.
06:05Fender bender.
06:06Hey, man.
06:06I'm trying to deliver some food.
06:07Hey, I'm trying to pick up some food.
06:08Rock, paper, scissors goes first.
06:10Rock, paper, scissors, shoot.
06:12I won.
06:13Yeah, put some muscle into it, Jimmy.
06:15This is diced ham.
06:17You know what's better than diced ham?
06:18Steamed hams.
06:21What are you following me?
06:22It's so cold.
06:23And then we...
06:24Very hot.
06:24As you can see in the background, there's still offloading lots of pallets.
06:27And this here is Ginny, and she works here at the food bank.
06:30There's about 170,000 servings of protein.
06:33Could you just tell us how it will impact people's lives?
06:36We have one in seven people who are facing food insecurity, one in five kids.
06:40We distribute 38 tons of food every day.
06:43We're grateful.
06:44So grateful.
06:44I thought we could help.
06:45Now, I know this might seem repetitive because, you know, we've moved a lot of pallets in this
06:49video, but I want to remind you that these pallets have thousands upon thousands of servings
06:54of protein in them, and these are genuinely going to impact a lot of lives.
06:58And now that the truck is empty, that means we've taken care of all 200,000...
07:01What are you doing?
07:02I'm SpongeBob.
07:03Well, go be SpongeBob over there.
07:04Okay.
07:05I'll see you at the next place.
07:07Chris, what's that in front of us?
07:08That's a truck of food.
07:10What's that behind us?
07:11A truck of food.
07:11Does that make us a sandwich?
07:13I thought we were delivering food, but now we're the food.
07:16And we're here in front of the food bank, and now we're going to wait on the truck.
07:20Oh, and it's here.
07:21Look, there's a truck.
07:22Look at that.
07:23Yeah.
07:24Lots of food.
07:26You're good.
07:27You're good.
07:27I don't think he listens to us.
07:29We are now at the last food bank of the video.
07:31Formation.
07:32Let's go.
07:33Yeah.
07:34My name, Jess.
07:35This is Kay.
07:36She's in charge here.
07:37Could you just tell us, you know, like, how have things been recently?
07:41Has all the recent stuff affected you guys in any way?
07:43Demand for food is, I think, at an all-time high, and I've never seen anything quite like
07:48this that makes today extra special, right?
07:50Do you think a few hundred thousand servings of protein would help?
07:53I think protein helps all the time.
07:55We have about 188,000 children at risk of hunger.
07:58We have another 45,000 or 50,000 seniors.
08:01We have a lot of veterans.
08:02And a lot of people live paycheck to paycheck, and with them not having work at the moment,
08:05they're depending heavily on you.
08:06They absolutely are, and protein is incredibly important all the time.
08:10Chris, can you get it open?
08:11I got it.
08:13He did it!
08:16Before we start unloading that one, we brought you a surprise.
08:20We brought you another truck full of meat.
08:25All right, three, two, one.
08:28There we go.
08:29There we go.
08:29Pump it up.
08:30Faster.
08:31Come on.
08:32Yes.
08:32I thought you guys were here to work.
08:34Carl, what happened?
08:49We took isolation too far.
08:51Carl, can you get out of this?
08:52I don't think so.
08:53So, Chris, does that make you want to...
08:55No.
08:57Carl is super ticklish.
08:58To the freezer!
09:05Why is it so much heavier now?
09:07You're on top of it.
09:09So, I have 1,700 pounds of sliced bacon.
09:12What do you have?
09:12I got 1,000 pounds of pepperoni.
09:16Why is that funny?
09:17I don't know.
09:18This is my tank.
09:19It's my food tank.
09:20Stop!
09:21My salami's stuck on the pole.
09:23Mama mia.
09:24Oh, wait.
09:24I figured it out.
09:25I used a mask.
09:28Come here, bacon.
09:32I was having trouble getting over the hump.
09:34I'm legitimately stuck now.
09:37I will always love you.
09:39You don't have to!
09:41Oh!
09:42Betrayal!
09:43Nerd!
09:51That was so dangerous!
09:55I was having trouble getting over the hump.
10:00Chris, look down this truck.
10:01What do you see?
10:01Walls.
10:02This truck.
10:02Walls in one pallet.
10:04That is the last pallet.
10:05Go, go, go, go, go, go.
10:06Wait, wait.
10:08My precious little booty!
10:12Alright.
10:12You just got tired, right?
10:13You didn't fall.
10:14And that's the last pallet.
10:16Alright, boys.
10:17To the freezers with our thousands of pounds of meat.
10:20Tyler, your meat's in the way.
10:21Just four bros carrying thousands of pounds of meat.
10:24Tyler, meat train.
10:25Brace yourself, Chris.
10:28Go, Tyler!
10:29Go, Tyler!
10:303,000 pounds of meat.
10:31Oh, I'm losing it.
10:32I'm losing it.
10:33We're losing it.
10:37When we started, this entire freezer was empty.
10:40And look at it.
10:40Over 300,000 servings of protein in this location alone.
10:44180,000 children in North Carolina don't know when their next meal is coming from.
10:48That is insane.
10:49Because when you think about it across America, it gets exponentially bigger.
10:53Which is why we partnered with Smithfield to do something way bigger than this video.
10:56Because of Smithfield, we were able to give these food banks this 1 million servings of protein.
11:00It literally would not have been possible without them.
11:02Here's the thing.
11:03Smithfield does stuff like this all the time.
11:05But the thing is, they can't do it on their own.
11:07So this is Jonathan.
11:08He manages a lot of their programs.
11:09And he's going to tell you how you guys can help.
11:11That's right, Jimmy.
11:11So, you know, the issue with hunger is that it's something that affects everyone.
11:15It's really something where we all need to get involved in order to address the solutions
11:18and really make ending hunger possible, especially at a time like this.
11:22As we've heard from so many of these food banks, a lot of people are hoarding right now.
11:25And they're just not giving as much.
11:26And like, genuinely, like, they do need your help.
11:28Which is why we're launching a challenge right now called the Good Food Challenge.
11:31We want to raise $1 million to support the Feeding America network of food banks across the country.
11:36If we hit $1 million, everything that we just did for this video of donating a million servings of protein, we'll do it again.
11:42Let me get this straight.
11:43For every dollar they donate to Feeding America, you guys will donate one serving of protein.
11:48That's right.
11:48We're going to hit that $1 million.
11:50Oh, my gosh.
11:50Okay.
11:51Guys, you stepped up for Team Trees.
11:52We raised $20 million to plant 20 million trees.
11:55I really want you guys to step up here.
11:56This goal is much lower.
11:57We need to raise $1 million so they can donate one million servings of protein.
12:02And then on top of that, match it with another million servings of protein.
12:05So please click the link in the description.
12:06Do it right now.
12:07If you wait until later, you might forget.
12:08Please, right now, go donate.
12:10A lot of people genuinely need your help.
12:12And I love you guys.
12:13Mr. Beastol.
