Hot air balloons bring color over snowy Alps in Swiss festival  Colorful hot air balloons dot the cloudy sky above the Swiss Alpine town of Chateau-d'Oex on Jan. 30, 2025 during the 45th edition of its annual festival. The nine-day celebration will end on Feb. 2 and is bringing together 65 pilots from various countries. The festival, created in 1979, features hot air balloons in special shapes, as well as air displays, demonstrations, a night show and other activities for families.
