00:00The local government of Davao City appealed to their residents to follow the Solid Waste Management today

00:07for the proper collection of garbage, especially since their new sanitary landfill is yet to be opened.

00:13We have breaking news for Sheila Alessandra of Radyo Pilipinas, Davao.

00:20The local government of Davao is already working on developing a six-hectare lot in New Carmen.

00:28This will be the new sanitary landfill of the city to solve the increasing garbage in Davao City.

00:35But while it is not yet operating, the LGU appealed to their residents to follow the Solid Waste Management

00:43for the proper and easy collection of garbage.

00:58We need everyone's participation in the Solid Waste Management.

01:08It is known that 753 tons of garbage is collected by the LGU from 182 barangays of the city

01:17every day that is thrown in the sanitary landfill in New Carmen, Tugbok District.

01:23In addition to repeatedly reminding the residents to help the local government to follow the Solid Waste Management,

01:31the information and education campaign to the proper collection of garbage will also continue.

01:37The LGU of Davao City will remember to buy the lot because the sanitary landfill that is currently located in the dump site in New Carmen

01:46has already reached the maximum limit.
