Afghans in Albania face uncertainty as Trump suspends refugee programme

US President Donald Trump has suspended a policy that would have allowed Afghan refugees who fulfill certain criteria to resettle in the US.

00:14Many Afghans fleeing the Taliban regime were sent to Albania as a transit point while the

00:23But after Trump's administration announced the suspension of the U.S. refugee admissions

00:28program, their future in the U.S. has become less certain.

00:32In towns like Shengjin along the Adriatic coast, hundreds of Afghans remain in temporary

00:37shelters.

00:38So, now they say you should integrate to Albania, so it's not easy for me to integrate in Albania.
