00:48And he pretty much came up with most of what he did on his own.

00:52You get an idea, this is kind of what we want to see.

00:55But it requires the actor to bring it to life and give it its quality.

01:14I mean, a lot of the roles he got traded in on his notoriety as Leatherface.

01:23As soon as they see that the original Leatherface is in it,

01:26they immediately pay attention to it.

01:28Most of the films I've worked on have been with people who

01:31they really are passionate about doing a movie.

01:33They haven't learned yet to lie to you.

01:35Tony Timpone, who was the editor of Fangoria Magazine at the time,

01:39kind of convinced Gunnar that he should be going to cons and signing autographs.

01:43And he was kind of a little reluctant at first.

01:45He interacted very well with fans and with people.

01:49He really was just such a class act.

01:51People would walk away so happy, man.

01:54It just meant Leatherface, he was such a great guy.

01:57As an entertainer, that's all you ever hope to do, is be remembered.
