00:00You wear two hats. You're a Member of Parliament as well as being First Lady.

00:03How do you square the two? Because you need to be outspoken for your

00:07constituents and at the same time sometimes it's difficult to be political.

00:13That's true. I have only recently become First Lady as my father became

00:18President and as a widow he decided to name his youngest daughter First

00:24Lady in order to fill that role and make sure that we have a strong

00:28representative for women and women's rights.

00:31Do you feel like you have to hold back? I have to hold back slightly when I'm in

00:36the arena of being the First Lady. But as a Member of the National Assembly, when

00:41I'm on the National Assembly floor, I will be fighting for my people's rights,

00:44needs and whatever they say to do. I'm their public servant.
