Pastor Mark Burns, President Donald Trump’s spiritual advisor, refers to the head of the Catholic Church Pope Francis as a “so called pope” criticizing him for pushing a political agenda against Trump.

00:00Alright, would you say the Pope is a so-called Pope, because he's said things that are quite similar to what Bishop Budd said.

00:07He's called President Trump not Christian because of his views on migration.

00:13He said there's no room for hatred, there's no room for discrimination, there's no room for exclusion.

00:18How's that any different from what the Bishop said?

00:20Well, I would agree. I think the Pope most definitely is a so-called Pope.

00:24Again, you have your own Catholic community that is uproaring.

00:28Your own Catholic community that is speaking against their own Pope that submits to the authority of the Pope.

00:36And so if the Catholic community is being divided by what their Pope is saying, then absolutely, I agree.

00:43To push the Caliph on the nativity scene, to push a political message by pushing an agenda, that is absolutely not the place of the Pope.
