00:30This Wednesday, it will be included in the 2nd reading of the Camera,

00:34and next week, it is expected to be approved in the last reading.

00:38According to the House Committee on Basic Education and Culture Chair Roman Romulo,

00:42the K-12 system should be improved and made simpler.

00:48Under the Education Pathways Bill, the current education program will be amended to make it easier and more effective.

01:18There should be no more strands, no more tracks, and no more subjects.

01:26Aside from this, the current issue regarding the Anti-Teenage Pregnancy Bill is also hot.

01:31The congressmen are looking at it differently.

01:35There are many fake news about the Prevention of Adolescent Pregnancy Bill

01:40that is supposed to strengthen the Comprehensive Sexuality Education Program in the country.

01:46It is not true that we will teach the children to masturbate.

01:52In fact, many studies show that while the youth are not yet formally taught the concepts related to their bodies,

02:03the youth can engage in risky activities.

02:08So it is better if there is proper guidance for them.
