00:00The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Agrarian Reform

00:05was able to distribute 113,917.89 hectares of land

00:10to 67,777 agrarian beneficiaries in Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.

00:17According to the Department of Agrarian Reform,

00:20it is a part of the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program of the government

00:25that aims to promote the livelihood of farmers in the region

00:29as part of the distribution of more than 53,000 hectares of land in Maguindanao,

00:3532,000 hectares of land in Lanao del Sur,

00:38as well as in Pasilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi, and Cotabato City.

00:42This initiative is also based on the Memorandum of Understanding

00:48of November 2023,

00:50signed by Secretary Conrado Estrella III

00:53and Barbed Chief Minister Ahud Ebrahim.
