ಭೀಕರ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಹತ್ತೂ ಜನರ ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಯು ಸವಣೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಅಂತ್ಯಕ್ರಿಯೆಗೂ ಮುನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಂತೆ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸಲಾಯಿತು.
