00:22Grey Hornbill, Oriental Pirate Hornbill and Akapa Greater Hornbill.

00:28The speciality of this hornbill is that it lives in pairs.

00:36And when the mother lays eggs, it goes to the hole in the tree to lay eggs.

00:44And it packs from outside.

00:46There is a small hole where the mother keeps laying eggs.

00:51The male works hard.

00:55It brings fruits from outside.

00:57It also brings eggs from other birds.

01:02And it gives it to the female.

01:04Because the mother needs a lot of protein at that time.

01:07And even when the children are about to grow up,

01:10we have seen that they also kill other birds and bring them.

01:14And they feed them there.

01:16Now what happens is that when the mother lives there with eggs or children,

01:21she passes her stool there.

01:25So because of the droppings, that small place is not hygienic.

01:31So to keep it hygienic, the male always brings leaves or dry bark from the tree and gives it to the female.

01:40And the mother keeps it inside and when the children do the potty, she throws it out.

01:46So we can say that they use it like a diaper.

01:49Or you can also say it like a morning sheet.

01:54And basically the concept is that they keep their nest very hygienic.

01:58To keep it hygienic, the male always brings leaves or dry bark and gives it there.
