00:25After revising the budget of the PNP, President R. Marcos Jr. saw an increase in the funds of the agency,
00:32including the programs for the information and technology of the PNP,
00:37the establishment of a safe camp security system,
00:40a drug-related data integration and generation system,
00:43and the National Expenditure Program.
00:46However, almost P1 billion was allocated to the General Appropriations Act.
00:52Those funds were allocated to the purchase of amphibious vehicles for the vehicle region and intelligence fund of the PNP.
01:01They allocated almost P1 billion to all-terrain amphibious rescue vehicles for Region 5.
01:09And they allocated an additional P500 million to the intelligence fund.
01:17So, as instructed by the President to our budget secretary,
01:24we will revert the budget of IT and will remove the additional P500 million to the intelligence fund.
01:36We will put it in the launching and bidding out process of the integrated 911 system for the whole Philippines.
01:46The 9-1-1 capacity will be strengthened by the addition of call centers and dispatchers.
01:53Additional body cameras and location devices will also be purchased for the police responders.

02:05which is used to respond to emergencies and crimes.
02:09Last year, the PNP was able to respond to 66% of the 1,000,000 emergency calls.
02:16The emergency response will also look into the fire.
02:20For every firetruck that is deployed, there should be an ambulance.
02:24We have 5,000 nurses in the BFP.
02:27So, we will utilize their capacity.
02:30If a firetruck arrives, an ambulance that is not a standard practice can also arrive.
