राजस्थान में छात्रों की आत्महत्या के मामले बढ़े हैं. इसका मुख्य कारण छात्रों में अवसाद और दबाव को माना जा रहा है.

00:00I went to see how many suicides have been committed by students in the last five years.

00:06From January 2019 to June 2020.

00:11There was a very alarming figure.

00:14They say that the police have given the figures of 87 suicides.

00:22It is shocking to see the suicides of 87 students.

00:29One 8-year-old girl committed suicide.

00:31Another 14-year-old girl committed suicide.

00:33And she committed suicide because of her studies.

00:35And all of them are students in coaching.

00:37Almost 70% of the students are under the age of 18.

00:45And they are studying from other states.

00:50Jodhpur, Kota and Shekhar are the biggest hubs for suicide.

00:58In Kota, 62 students committed suicide.

01:02In Shekhar, 17 students committed suicide.

01:04It is very alarming.

01:08What is the reason for committing suicide?

01:11Mental stress.

01:13But what is mental stress?

01:15Mental stress is related to studies and selection.

01:18A 24-year-old girl committed suicide in Himachal Pradesh.

01:22She was preparing for her Ph.D. for the last 6 years.

01:26She did not complete her Ph.D. and committed suicide.

01:28A 24-year-old girl.

01:30The competition in entrance examination is increasing.

01:38That is the biggest reason.

01:42She has to go to a foreign city and perform in a competitive environment.

01:53Every week and every month there is a test.

01:58Due to which the level of competition increases.

02:04When they are away from home, they do not exercise.

02:09They do not do any entertainment.

02:12To fulfill their unfulfilled dreams, they make their children a medium.

02:20Because of this, they always say,

02:24Pay attention to your studies.

02:27We are spending so much on you.

02:31The competitive environment of Kumbh Mela,

02:36They do not exercise.

02:38They do not participate in entertainment activities.

02:41There is no trustworthy person to share their emotions.

02:48All these things create stress in a person.

02:53When stress arises, there is a slight anxiety.

02:58Lack of sleep.

02:59Anxiety.

03:00Lack of concentration.

03:02All these things happen.

03:05Initially, a person tries to adjust.

03:13But if this is not treated in the initial stage,

03:21Then it becomes a serious mental disorder.

03:28Just as there is immunity in physical diseases,

03:36Similarly, there is resilience power in mental diseases.

03:41It handles mental problems and challenges efficiently.

03:49Due to lack of resilience power,

03:53They gradually start thinking of quitting.

03:59I can't do it anymore.

04:01The hope in them is over.

04:06I will not be able to perform anything in life.

04:09Gradually, they feel that suicide is the solution to all their problems.
