00:00Donald Trump is the 47th President of the United States.

00:06This is his second visit to the White House after his first term in 2017-2021.

00:15In his visit, he mentioned the two-gender policy.

00:24Donald Trump is officially sworn in for his second term as President of the United States.

00:31U.S. Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts first sworn in to Trump

00:36in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda in Washington, D.C.

00:39This is the first presidential inauguration that was done indoors

00:42since Ronald Reagan was sworn in as President of the United States in 1985.

00:47This is also because of the expected cold weather and strong winds there.

00:52Among those who attended the inauguration were former U.S. President Joe Biden,

00:56former U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris,

00:59former presidents of the United States Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama.

01:04Also present at the inauguration were prominent tech companies

01:09like Amazon founder Jeff Bezos, Apple CEO Tim Cook,

01:13and SpaceX founder Elon Musk,

01:15who will also lead a proposed Presidential Advisory Committee

01:19known as the Department of Government Efficiency or DOGE.

01:22Trump started his inaugural speech by giving the promise of the Golden Age of America

01:28where he said that he will be a peacemaker and unifier.

01:32During every single day of the Trump administration,

01:35I will very simply put America first.

01:49Our sovereignty will be reclaimed.

01:52Our safety will be restored.

01:55The scales of justice will be rebalanced.

01:59The vicious, violent, and unfair weaponization

02:02of the Justice Department and our government will end.

02:07And our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud, prosperous, and free.

02:21When it comes to foreign policy,

02:23Trump promised that he will change the name of the Gulf of Mexico

02:27and he will name it the Gulf of America.

02:29He also promised that the United States will restore control of the Panama Canal.

02:34This is because the Panama Canal has been affected by the ships of the United States

02:39which have violated the Torrijos-Carter Treaty.

02:42President Trump has passed dozens of executive orders.

02:47For example, the declaration of a national emergency on the U.S.-Mexico border,

02:51the withdrawal of America from the Paris Climate Agreement,

02:54the establishment of an external revenue service

02:57that will be distributed to the goods and goods that will be collected from foreign sources.

03:01Some world leaders also expressed their greetings to President Trump.

03:05Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu thanked the Trump administration

03:10for the efforts to liberate Israeli territories from Hamas.

03:15Netanyahu also said that America and Israel will strengthen Hamas' military capabilities

03:21and its political role in Gaza will be strengthened.

03:24Before Trump's inauguration,

03:26U.S. Secretary of State nominee Marco Rubio said in his confirmation hearing

03:31in front of the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations

03:34that China should stop what it is doing in the Philippines and Taiwan

03:38if it is serious in maintaining relations between America and China.

03:44The actions they are taking now are deeply destabilizing.

03:47They are forcing us to take counteractions

03:49because we have commitments to the Philippines

03:51and we have commitments to Taiwan that we intend to keep.

03:55They want to destabilize the relationship

03:57or they want to at least create some pathway for stabilization of our relationship with them

04:02even as we remain engaged in global competition

04:05and in some cases more adversarial than others.

04:08They really need to stop messing around with Taiwan and with the Philippines

04:12because it's forcing us to focus our attention in ways we prefer not to have to.
