00:08who was a resident of the historical village of Barnara.

00:12Today we are standing in front of his ancestral village Thikriwala,

00:15where his 91st Barsi is being celebrated in the village.

00:19In this Barsi celebration, there is a three-day celebration,

00:22on the 18th, the publication of Shri Akhand Bahadur Sahib is held,

00:26and on the 19th, on behalf of the Punjab government,

00:29on behalf of any party in the Punjab government,

00:32Sardar Anjali is being celebrated.

00:34And on the last day, on the 20th, the opposition parties,

00:38their leaders and other farmers and social groups,

00:41Sardar Anjali is being celebrated.

00:43Today we are standing at the place where the martyr Sehwag Singh Thikriwala was born,

00:47where he spent a long time of his life.

00:51Today, when he is being celebrated, Sardar Anjali is being celebrated,

00:55leaders are coming in large numbers, people are coming in thousands.

00:59It is worth noting that this building behind me,

01:03is the birthplace of the martyr Sehwag Singh Thikriwala.

01:08This is the place where the martyr Sehwag Singh was born,

01:11which has been turned into a ruin.

01:14Only this building is left.

01:16For a long time, this place has been asked to be taken care of,

01:20in the form of this museum,

01:22that this place be taken care of.

01:24But on any given occasion, the government,

01:27and the people of the village,

01:29always have a problem with the media,

01:31that this place should be taken care of.

01:34This has made it such a big mansion,

01:36in which the martyr Sehwag Singh spent a long time.

01:40All the movements of that time,

01:42that started a century ago,

01:44whether it was against the British,

01:46or against the Rajwara Sahi,

01:48have been erased from that mansion.

01:52Some other people have been taking care of the mansion.

01:55Today, the village panchayat has announced,

01:58that this place has been handed over to the panchayat.

02:03Harpal Singh Chima, the Prime Minister of Punjab,

02:06has come here.

02:07He has also announced lakhs of rupees,

02:09for the preservation of this place.

02:11We will certainly talk to the people of the village,

02:14where two years ago,

02:16the Chief Minister of Punjab,

02:18Bhagwant Maan, announced,

02:20that a girls' nursing college will be built here.

02:22But that college has not been built yet.

02:25Where there is a deserted place,

02:27the Vice-Minister has also announced,

02:29that soon, a nursing college will be built,

02:32with the demand of other villages.

02:34But, we tell one more thing about the martyr Sehwag Singh,

02:37that the martyr Sehwag Singh,

02:39was the founder of the Shromani Kalidhar.

02:41When the Kalidhar came into existence,

02:43he was the name in the Modi journals,

02:45in the Modi archives.

02:47He created the Parja Mandal wave,

02:50and the Muzara wave,

02:52against the farmers,

02:54was fought against Rajwada Shahi,

02:56in the Patiala state.

02:58In that, the great contribution of the martyr Sehwag Singh was there.

03:01On the night of 19th and 20th January,

03:04that same day,

03:06he went to jail against Rajwada Shahi,

03:08against the Patiala state.

03:10He spent a long time in jail,

03:12and he also died a martyr's death.

03:14The legacy of the great martyrs,

03:17or the martyrs of the community,

03:19should not be forgotten.

03:21For the villagers, for the government,

03:23for the administration,

03:25a question arises,

03:27that these memorabilia should be kept safe,

03:29so that the coming generations,

03:31can take care of them.

03:33So that the new generations,

03:35can understand,

03:37how much history we have to make.
