Quinn praised the competitiveness of Jayden Daniels as he led the Commanders to an upset win over the Lions

00:00Coming in we knew this was going to be an absolute battle. It's a really talented

00:04team. Dan and their staff have, Brad and everybody here has put together a

00:09fantastic team. So tonight I thought the story of the game was the ball and the

00:13turnover margin and for us to have a real shot at this thing we'd have to

00:17knock out a few and so to finish plus in that was you know big for us. The time of

00:23possession obviously is a result of you know some of the third downs that got

00:26converted and I thought down the red zone that was the name of the game. He's

00:31a rare competitor. There's no doubt about that but in those moments he is if he

00:35was a basketball player he'd want the last shot. As a ball player he wants the

00:38ball in his hands to make the difference and he makes great decisions with the

00:42football and that takes real mindfulness. Sometimes the best play may be hey I got

00:47to throw this away. He uses his legs but he is a rare competitor for us but his

00:52poise in these tight moments really stands out to us.
