00:00We he and I did a movie together called life of Chuck. We actually sat down at a very Hollywood thing
00:05We did lunch together
00:06We had mutual friend and like he was like Mike Flanagan wants to meet you and I'm like great
00:10I I didn't really know his work at the time
00:14I'm not I don't consume a lot of horror in my life. I know it sounds a little surprising but
00:21We sat and had a lunch and we talked for three hours. It's just an incredible afternoon
00:25We got along great and the end of it is like, you know someday I want to work with you
00:28I'm like, you don't have to ask me twice. I'm in
00:31And so about you know a year later
00:37Six months later, he called me up and I was dropping my kid off it at school at college and
00:43He said hey, I have a small part in this movie a small movie if you're interested
00:48Independently financed very tiny. It's near and dear to my heart
00:52But it's a small part is not like what I think of your abilities or your talent
00:57And I don't want to insult you and you don't have to take this part and I was like you won't insult me
01:02I'm a hundred percent in
01:03And yes is the answer
01:06So I ended up doing a one-day work on life of Chuck
01:10Which is his adaptation of the Stephen King novella, and it was awesome. It was so great
01:17We all on great. We had a blast. We spent the weekend hanging out having dinner
01:22Sort of it's everything you could possibly want as an actor on a set
01:27And then came time to do the job the job went great
01:29The movie's brilliant and just won the Toronto International Film Festival
01:33The last 12 films to win that award have gone on to be nominated for Academy Awards Best Picture
01:39So it's very that's exciting for us. We just got purchased by neon so that comes out next year, which would be fun
01:47I stand at the ready. I hope that he considers me
01:51Either way, I adore him as a human being is like one of my favorite people. So
01:58Whatever happens. I'm lucky to have him as a friend
