00:11As you all know, yesterday on January 15th, MHA had its second round of talks.

00:27What were the outcomes and what were the topics discussed?

00:32Since the establishment of LADAG-UT, there has been no recruitment in the government administration.

00:42We have discussed this in great detail.

00:46We had discussed this issue in the first round as well.

00:52It was almost sorted out.

00:55However, there were some things that were left unresolved in this meeting.

01:00For example, 95% reservation had already been done.

01:06However, it was not cleared on domicile.

01:10This time, the domicile has also been cleared.

01:13The government said 15%, we said 20%.

01:17If any of you are in LADAG-UT, it will only be for a job.

01:21Anyone can come and participate.

01:24If you have been in LADAG-UT for 15 years, you can participate.

01:32As far as cadres are concerned,

01:36when there will be recruitment, which cadres will you go to?

01:39Will you go to LADAG-UT cadres, J&K cadres or DENIX cadres?

01:44We said that our first preference would be LADAG-UT's separate cadres.

01:52If that is not possible, then we will club with J&K for cadres.

01:59However, we completely rejected DENIX.

02:11we said that if we give the Legislative Assembly to LADAG-UT,

02:16then we will dissolve the Hill Council.

02:20Our Chief Executive Counsellors from Leh and Kargil did not object to this.

02:28We have 30 counsellors from Leh and 30 counsellors from Kargil.

02:34What will happen to them?

02:36How many seats will we get in the Assembly?

02:40How will we be represented?

02:43There was no serious discussion on this.

02:46But the government said that if you ask for a statehood,

02:53then what will happen to both the councils?

02:56We said that the council is not that important for us.

03:01Even if the council is not there, we have no objection.

03:06Both the CECs were there.

03:09They said that we can sacrifice this for LADAG-UT.

03:14We can leave our seats.

03:16For example, if both the councils are removed,

03:24then MLAs will replace the councillors.

03:28Then there will be a separate delimitation.

03:31And the number of seats will be decided by the government.

03:37I think there should be at least 30 seats.

03:41Sir, there has been a discussion on the Nautor land.

03:59The government said that the problem in Nautor,

05:15But the recruitment rule should be made.

05:26the Sikh Schedule is a part of our agenda.

05:43The government has indicated that the Sikh Schedule is a bit difficult.

06:03If the government accepts the demand of our legislature,

06:08then we can discuss the other issue,

06:11which is the issue of our Sikh Schedule.

06:21then we will say that we should not get the Sikh Schedule.

06:32How satisfactory has it been?
