03:20Well, it's an important moment.
03:23You will never forget that India was one of the first few countries
03:27to recognise Singapore's independence in 1965.
03:31And since then, our relationship has grown by bounds.
03:36It's a natural partnership between a small country, Singapore,
03:40and a very large country, India.
03:42But we found ways to cooperate in ways that are mutual interests
03:46in a whole range of areas.
03:48Our business relationships are thriving.
03:50In fact, Singapore is the largest investor in India for many years now.
03:55Our defence relationship is strong.
03:57Our relationship in skilling has been very active in recent years,
04:03and it continues to grow.
04:05We are now on a new trajectory with India,
04:09with the upgrade of our relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership,
04:14which was announced during Prime Minister Modi's last visit to Singapore
04:18in September last year.
04:21We are exploring new initiatives,
04:23going beyond the existing very active relationship that we have.
04:28We are working on cooperating in advanced manufacturing and semiconductors,
04:33to build up the semiconductor ecosystem in India.
04:36We are working on new generation and net zero industrial parts.
04:41And we are working on the skilling for the new industries that are involved
04:46as we embark on these new paths.
04:49We are also exploring other initiatives in the digital space
04:55and in sustainability.
