00:00The 2025 Manila International Film Festival, or MIFF, announced the postponement of its second

00:06edition due to catastrophic wildfires in Southern California. The MIFF said this year's edition,

00:12originally scheduled from January 30 to February 2, will be moved to another date. It also cited

00:19about the tremendous impact of wildfires on many people, including the Filipino community.

00:24The first ever MIFF was held at the Los Angeles, California.

00:28The festival aims to showcase Filipino films on the global stage.
