00:10Since 1996, 30 people have died in the Nagavalli flood.

00:17In 2005, the government of Andhra Pradesh, in 2006,

00:24signed the Nagavalli flood bridge construction agreement with Pornapuram,

00:32and provided Rs. 6 crore, Rs. 3 crore RADF funds and Rs. 3 crore NABAR funds.

00:36Then, the funds were given to the Grijan Sankshayams for the construction of the bridge.

00:42In 2007, the government sanctioned Rs. 1 crore for the construction of the bridge,

00:48and the construction of the bridge was completed in 2007.

00:57Since then, the construction of the bridge has increased.

01:05In 2014, Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, after becoming the CM,

01:10in 2015, through Jio No. 72,

01:15provided Rs. 9.98 crore, Rs. 7 crore NABAR funds,

01:19and Rs. 2.98 crore tribal supply funds.

01:23He also provided the funds for the construction of the bridge,

01:27and the contractor, RR Agency, was also given the responsibility.

01:31The responsibility was given to the Panchayat Raj Engineering Department.

01:34In the last five years, the construction of the bridge was completed.

01:44In 2019-2024, the Government of Vizag,

01:48completely forgot about the construction of the bridge,

01:51and in the last five years,

01:53the Government of Vizag has not paid any attention to the construction of the bridge,
