00:00Now, in PBA, the top two teams, Northport, Batang Per, and Converge Fibre Xers,

00:07took action in the Season 49 PBA Commercial News Cup Doubleheader

00:10held at the Inoyaktino Stadium in Malate, Manila last night.

00:14Did the powerhouse teams continue their momentum this conference

00:18or did their opponents, the contenders, score an upset?

00:26The Converge Fibre Xers, who are facing the fearsome Rain or Shine Elasto Painters,

00:31were able to take out their opponents.

00:35In this conference, Coach Yeng Gyao has already defeated several top teams,

00:41including San Miguel Beermen and Hong Kong Eastern.

00:45Contrary to Converge, Ross repeated their upset against a title contender.

00:52In the first half, they were able to secure a 17-point lead.

00:56Converge star guard Alex Stockton's performance was a big deal.

01:41Because of this, Converge was able to take the 2nd place in the standings of Season 49 Commissioner's Cup.

01:48With a record of 7 wins and 3 losses.

01:51On the other hand, according to head coach Franco Atienza,

01:55Converge will not make a mistake and lose focus.

01:59It's our goal to make it to the playoffs.

02:02And hopefully, if we're able to, we'll be able to take the top 2.

02:06But at the end of the day, a lot more can happen.
