00:00I completed my studies from Mechanical Engineering and after that I got a placement in the steel industry.

00:08I worked in different companies for 5 to 7 years.

00:13Wherever I worked, my home and village always wanted me to start a new business.

00:26I had never studied before, so I always wanted to know more about the city and its technologies.

00:36I wanted to know more about the rural area where I belonged.

00:41I wanted to know how I could invent something new there.

00:47I got to know about Fortified Rice.

00:52I did research for 2 to 3 years.

00:55After that, I realized that Fortified Rice could be very useful for our region.

01:03This is a tribal area and there are a lot of problems in terms of food.

01:11The Fortified Rice that we are making is a government effort to provide food.

01:18I have installed a Fortified Rice Kernel here.

01:22In short, it is called FRK rice.

01:25This is a high-nutritional rice.

01:30We mix iron, folic acid, and cyanocobalamin according to the FSSI measurements.

01:40This rice is distributed by the government through the FSI or Nagiri Kapurthi Nigam.

01:52How much did it cost to set up this industry?

01:56It cost us around 2.5 crores.

02:02The cost of the machines, infrastructure, and electrification is a heavy load.

02:10After arranging everything, it cost us around 2.5 crores.

02:15Where did you buy the machines from?

02:17We bought the machines from Saharanpur.

02:21Some machines were developed in India and some were imported from China or Taiwan.

02:30How many people have you given jobs to?

02:32We are providing jobs to around 25-30 people.

02:37I want to upgrade some food related industries in the future.

02:41I have some ideas in my mind.

02:43But the government and other departments are still trying to understand the process of licensing.

02:53As soon as we get success in all these, we will move forward.
