National Gallery to extend opening hours this weekend for Van Gogh exhibition

The Trafalgar Square venue will be open for a whole 24 hours to mark the final weekend of the Van Gogh exhibition.

00:07In celebration of the final weekend of the Van Gogh Poets and Lovers exhibition,

00:11the National Gallery is set to be open through the night.

00:15The late experience will allow art lovers a final chance to see some of Van Gogh's most famous works

00:21all together before they return to museums and private collections

00:25who loaned them to the National Gallery for the exhibition.

00:28Having opened in September, the exhibition has over 60 of Van Gogh's works on display,

00:33including the two iconic sunflower canvases.

00:37Ahead of its final day this Sunday, 19th January,

00:41the National Gallery will be open from 9pm on Friday through to 10am on Saturday morning.

00:47While tickets have now sold out, members can still go for free.
