00:00On one hand, the Mahakumbh Mela has started in Prayagraj, and on the other hand, the Mini Mahakumbh Mela has started in Faruqabad.

00:07We have with us DM Dr. B.K. Singh. We will ask him about the preparations and what has been done by you and the administration.

00:13The inauguration of the Sri Ravanagriya Mela has been done by the Honourable PM Mukesh Rajput,

00:18along with all our Honourable MPs, Honourable MLA's, Honourable MLC's,

00:23Kalpavarshi, Saint, Sadhu, Mahatma, Honourable members of the public,

00:26Police Chief and the Chief of Police and District Administration.

00:32As you have seen, the Ganga Poojan and Ganga Aarti have been performed in a traditional manner.

00:41We hope that by the 13th of February, we will be able to provide all the facilities,

00:46including the police, to the people of this Mela.

00:51We will try to solve any shortcomings that may arise.

00:56As far as the Mela's facilities are concerned, the Chief of Mela and the Chief of District Administration

01:03have been given clear instructions and various committees have been formed.

01:06The Mela will be completed without any delay.

01:10We hope that the Mela will be completed in a grand manner with the support of all of you.

01:16As you know, this is not a state-run Mela.

01:18Therefore, this Mela does not receive any donation from the administration.

01:21The facilities that are provided to the Mela at an easy level,

01:25are provided through various banks.

01:27Still, we will try to provide the best possible Mela in terms of the available facilities.

01:33Sir, how many people are expected to attend the Mela?

01:37In this Mela, there is a lot of crowd at the Moni Ambashya.

01:42We hope that at least two to two and a half lakh people will take a bath here,

01:46more than Kalpavasi.

01:47We estimate that around 7,000 people visit Kalpavasi every year.

01:51So, on an average, 30,000 to 40,000 people visit Kalpavasi every year.

01:56It is a matter of great joy that there is no such activity in Kalpavasi,

02:01due to which we, the district administration, the police administration,

02:04as well as you, the media people, have a lot of support in a positive way,

02:08so that this Mela can be completed successfully.

02:12Sir, what preparations have we made by the administration for the tourists who come from outside?

02:17Look, people from 7-8 districts come here to take a bath.

02:21Some people also come from outside.

02:23So, we have hotel facilities here.

02:25Apart from that, there is also a Dharamshala.

02:27There is a procession here,

02:29the relatives of Roti stay in Roti only.

02:33I found out about this.

02:34So, people told me that there is no separate arrangement here.

02:38People stay with their relatives or Kalpavasi in Roti only.

02:42The rest of the saints and saints also have Dharamshalas.

02:45They have temples.

02:46They also have restrictions on staying there.

02:48Bhandaras continue to run in all areas.

02:50Morning and evening.

02:51So, no tourists or outsiders have any facility.

02:54And we have also told the Mela administration

02:56that if still no one has any facility to sleep,

02:59then the Mela administration, our camp,

03:01will arrange a facility for sleeping in that camp as well.

03:06There is a Mela in your area.

03:08In how much area is this Mela in?

03:10This Mela is in between 2-3 sq. km.

03:15And gradually the Mela is expanding.

03:17When the Mela will be in full swing after one week,

03:19then it will be exact.

03:20Right now, this Mela is around 2 km.
