00:48New year, new Filipino. That's the theme of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s new year vlog.

00:54The president encourages Filipinos to begin change by practicing discipline.

01:08He emphasized the importance of discipline in health, finances,

01:12and keeping a clear mind by shutting out gossip and intrigue.

01:24What's the president's own new year's resolution?

01:55The vlog also made special mention of Filipinos who have brought honor to the nation,

02:02including the voice winner Sophronio Vasquez as a symbol of Filipino excellence.

02:25Whatever one's new year's resolution may be,

02:34the president reminds everyone to never forget love of country.

02:54And to be good if it is anchored in loving the Philippines.
