00:11year at Sundance Film Festival.

00:13Hi, I'm Pasha Talamkin.

00:15I'm also director of the film.

00:18About three years ago, I got a really crazy email.

00:21It was actually this misdirected reality TV show casting call.

00:25A teacher from a small town in Russia was reaching out, talking about all of this crazy

00:31stuff that was happening in his school.

00:33He was turned into a propagandist, preparing children to become the next generation of

00:37fighters in Russia's wars.

00:39He was wracked with guilt, but wanted to do something about it.

00:43And the thing that he did was make a film with me.

00:55Pasha is that teacher at his school that we all know.

01:02His office is a social club for all the kids who don't fit in.
