00:21When first announced, many assumed Hercules was going to be heavier on the action and
00:25lighter on the laughs.
00:26But the final product proved them wrong.
00:45The film is chock-full of humor, not all of it aimed at the younger set.
00:49Case in point, as Meg and Hercules find themselves in a romantic garden, we hear about the day
00:53they've just had.
00:54Dinner sounded like fun, but that production of Oedipus Rex inspired a parental problems
00:59jest from Hercules.
01:11Most younger viewers won't understand that Oedipus unintentionally ended up killing his
01:14father and getting too close to his mother.
01:17Likewise, Hermes' quip about Narcissus?
01:19We know what he's talking about, but don't tell the kiddies.

01:28Cronk's Strategically Placed Tent – The Emperor's New Groove
01:31This one is a bit open to interpretation, but it's too good not to include.
01:35The Emperor's New Groove contains zany humor, much of it courtesy of its terrific voice
01:39cast.
01:57This moment, however, is a visual.
01:58Cronk, the shall we say dim-witted and definitely oversized henchman of the evil alchemist Yzma,
02:04is seen snoring peacefully in an itty-bitty tent.
02:07Well, at least a part of him is covered by that tent, because Cronk, in typical comic
02:10character tradition, is depicted with physically exaggerated proportions.
02:14Some viewers think the tent is placed over a piece of the anatomy that often tents itself.
02:19Others say, nah, it's just his knees.
02:21We leave it up to you.

02:30The Minister's Swollen Knee – The Little Mermaid
02:33You'd think that during a scene in which our title heroine has to stop the wedding
02:37of her beloved to a villainous imposter, people would be too busy to notice any little improprieties.
02:42Well, you'd think wrong.
02:53When the mesmerized Prince Eric and the disguised sea witch Ursula begin their wedding ceremony,
02:57some people let their gaze shift to the minister officiating at this wedding.
03:00And many who did so noticed that he seemed a little more… excited about the ceremony
03:05than it's proper.
03:08There's a bulge in his midsection, but it could just be his very knobby knee.
03:14Still intentionally or not, it comes across to many as a misplaced appendage.
03:18Taking no chances, Disney removed it from later releases of the film.

03:26Yeah, multiplying – Zootopia Zootopia was a smash hit, perhaps at least
03:32partially because of its clever mixture of anthropomorphic cartoon and buddy cop comedy.
03:36Judy Hopps is the first rabbit police officer in the big city of Zootopia.
03:40She may be from a small town, but she knows how to play the urban game.
03:55Needing to enlist conman Nick Wilde to help her on a case, she cleverly traps him into
04:00confessing to tax evasion and leverages that to get his help.
04:03Along the way, she makes an offhanded reference to the fact that bunnies are known for multiplying.
04:23Most will know that's a reference to the many children rabbits often produce.
04:27Kids will just be laughing at her tricking Nick.

04:31Lightning Gets Flashed – Cars Puns and double entendres are a big part
04:46of many comedies, but sometimes they can go a little far when used in kid-oriented entertainment.
04:54In Cars, Lightning McQueen is attempting to make the jump from rookie racer to legitimate
04:57star.
05:03After an early race, Lightning meets a couple of ardent fans.
05:06Mia and Tia are Mazda Miata twins, who are thrilled to meet their hero.
05:10They even go so far as to flash their headlights at Lightning, and his response indicates that
05:14flashing in his world is similar to flashing in ours.
05:27And the fact that these twins appear to be on the young side makes Lightning's smug
05:30reaction a bit distasteful.

05:35Size Doesn't Matter – Frozen If it wasn't clear before, the chemistry
05:40in the Frozen sleigh ride scene makes it certain that Anna and Kristoff are endgame.
05:55This is especially true from the interplay between the two as Anna explains how she became
05:59engaged to a man she'd only just met.
06:01The back-and-forth dialogue is so fast at times that you'd be forgiven if this little
06:05sleigh reference didn't register at first.
06:16But given Anna's vehemence about foot size not mattering, we can't help but think she
06:20knows about the supposed correlation between feet and manliness.
06:24Later in Frozen 2, we also get a little glimpse into Anna's playtime preferences.

06:36Burying It In The Background – The Rescuers No one noticed this little naughty bit until
06:45The Rescuers came out on home video.
06:47It seems to have been an inside joke slipped into the film by who we may never know.
06:51Anyway, in what is a very well-animated action scene, Bernard and Miss Bianca are flying
06:56around on the back of an albatross as part of their mission.
07:08At one point in what appears to be only a few frames at most, a picture of a topless
07:12woman pops up behind the mice.
07:14It's too fast to have been caught in the original release, and when discovered, the folks at
07:17Disney took steps to correct it in future copies.

07:29Mushu's X-Ray Vision – Mulan One of the most memorable scenes from Mulan
07:33is the meeting between the warrior and the dragon Mushu.
07:36Once he's actually seen, Mushu doesn't seem like such a big deal.
07:39But his compact size belies his larger-than-life personality.
07:42Much of it is courtesy of Eddie Murphy.
07:55While most of this sequence is harmless, there's one questionable exchange involving Mushu's
08:00claim of X-Ray Vision.
08:01The moment can't help but feel invasive, but at least Mulan has the opportunity to
08:04show the dragon that pervy behavior is not acceptable.
08:14Mushu isn't through, of course, getting off a comment later that implies Yao has erectile
08:18issues.
08:19Funny and effective, and thankfully it passes children right by.

08:29Genie's Honeymoon Comment – Aladdin and the King of Thieves
08:32When Robin Williams was in front of a microphone, there was no telling what might come out of
08:35his mouth.
08:45That seems to have been the case here, with a quick aside tossed off just as Aladdin
08:49and Jasmine's wedding gets interrupted.
08:51A bunch of bad guys upset the proceedings, and when they surprise an elephant, the animal's
08:55movements cause something like a small earthquake.
08:57Cue Williams, who delivers a comment that is definitely sexual in nature.
09:01It's inappropriate, but definitely funny, and it helps to detract from the lesser-quality
09:07animation of this direct-to-video sequel.

09:48Male anatomy jokes do tend to pop up, so to speak, with surprising frequency in Disney
09:52films.
09:54Here's a list with another one.
09:55In Toy Story, Woody's name by itself could conceivably fall into this category, and his
09:59reaction to Bo Peep's invitation leaves little doubt as to what is on his mind.
10:16But that's much more controlled than Buzz Lightyear's little unexpected reaction to
10:19seeing Jesse's acrobatics in Toy Story 2.
10:22Mind you, it's intended to be flattering, and it does get a laugh, but try explaining
10:25to your child why you're chuckling over it.
