00:24The woman's body was found near the house, after which the villagers started a protest against the forest department.

00:30In the midst of the fear of the tiger and the anger of the villagers, the team of the forest department

00:34set up cages in the area without any delay.

00:37After about 48 hours, the movement of the tiger was captured in the camera and it was trapped in the cage.

00:42The arrival and departure of the tiger can be clearly seen in the cameras of the forest department.

00:47It is a matter of relief for the villagers that the tiger was caught.

00:51In Okhaldhunga, two days ago, when we attacked a woman,

00:56we asked for permission to set up a cage there and tranquilize her.

01:00We kept trying to catch this tiger as soon as possible,

01:05because if there was another accident, it would have been very difficult.

01:09So, with everyone's efforts, the tiger was captured around 10.30-11 o'clock.

01:15It was captured in our cage. We sent the tiger to the Dehla rescue center and its treatment is going on there.

01:20According to the officials of the forest department,

01:23on the night of January 8, the camera trap was set up in the area of the incident to catch the tiger.

01:28On the night of January 10, between 10 and 11, the tiger was trapped in this cage.

01:34The forest officials who were working hard saw it.

01:37Its information was given to the higher authorities.

01:39The tiger has been brought to the rescue center from the Dehla range of the Corbett Tiger Reserve.

01:44After examining the sample of the tiger, it will be clear that

01:48a tiger had attacked a woman and killed her.

01:51The sample that we collected from the body and the tiger that we have rescued,

01:58we are sending it to WI, Dehradun and CCMB Hyderabad.

02:03So that it can be confirmed that it was the same tiger.

02:06But the camera traps that we had set up and the movements that we had monitored,

02:11it is almost certain that it is the same tiger.

02:14Now, once it is scientifically proven, it will be better.

02:17According to the forest department, the tiger caught is a male tiger,

02:21who is about 7 years old, which is physically healthy.

02:25This is a male tiger. It looks like a 7-8 year old tiger.

02:29Everything else is fine. There is no deformity in it.

02:44In about three days, this tiger has devoured three people,
