Police said that 600 nylon manja wheels were found in that box. The festival of Makar Sankranti is celebrated with great enthusiasm in Nashik district. However, now, despite the ban on flying kites, nylon manja is threatening the lives of citizens. In the last month, two people have died due to nylon manja in Nashik district, while many have been seriously injured. Although the police administration has banned nylon manja, the sale of nylon manja continues in secret. Nashik police have registered cases against 19 manja sellers in a month and have detained 22 suspects. While deportation action has been taken against 6 people. So far, the police have seized 843 bags of nylon manja, worth about Rs 6.50 lakh. Inspection to be carried out through drones: "Municipality and police teams have been formed to inspect nylon manja. The sale and use of nylon manja is also banned. Therefore, no one should use manja, otherwise a fine of Rs 10,000 will be imposed," said Yeola Chief Officer Tushar Aher. Meanwhile, a drone inspection has been planned on the use of nylon manja and the Yeola police said that this inspection will be independent.
